'Heart and Soul' 2019

This is a sculpture I created this year, a one-of-a-kind pewter & mixed media rendition from a previous all-bronze edition I did in (2014/15).

'Solid' pewter cast: embedded inside the heart-sculpture are many gemstones and sea-shells not pictured on its visible surface. Contains glass spheres, turquoise, sea shells, agate and quartz crystals. The concept behind/in this sculpture is that the soul is standing in front of a heart... The 'soul' is invisible except for the footprints, now fossilized, visiting its heart and all it contains/mirrors and that which it has yet to release and gain. Initialed and stamped by the artist.
