'The Calabash of Shamrock Gnomes' (2018/2019)
A sculpture I did focusing my style into a utilitarian framework (a calabash pipe), while its title came after its completion. After casting this in pewter I detailed and polished it, then immersed it in a copper-ion electroplating bath (no one sculpture possesses the same electroplating surfacing, making its 'look' one-of-a-kind). Meticulously detailed and magical through and through. An archaic heirloom and unique presence; the perfect eclectic gift!
