‘A Star-mother Visits Boneville’s Orphan’ (2015/16)

Recently cast (2023) ~ This is an earlier sculptural journey of mine: it has an applied patina and archival seal (will not tarnish). The Star-mother is the round orb resting atop the Great-Bovine Bone that’s the centerpiece of ‘Boneville’, a fairy village built around this found relic of long ago. She wears a crown depicting a interstellar boat carrying a nexus-disk… A fairy village surrounds and celebrates her quiet arrival, a cave within, a newly hatched chick floating on a half-egg-shell towards the cave’s entrance, many unique creatures and beings reside here…
