The Solidity Of Solitude
I want my art to be solid-proof that the spirit can have a signature without affixing itself to a name, that there's a 'quiet one' within all of us who is and is becoming, regardless of the externals that occupy the mind. I feel that art lives in the spontaneity of a child when it creates an internal/external adventure out of The Nothingness that’s found within a deep, sun-filled forest and records it in a form for all to perceive and participate in, while using it as a roadmap to check oneself along 'the way', enduring the present while holding onto its implications; a tactile-symbol within quality-of-life practices, self esteem and individual purpose. It’s my mission to celebrate my life and offer, through the ceremonies of writing, artwork and conversation, inspiration and company to others in the exploration of their invisible sides, to express those discoveries by similar disciplines, birthing the untouchable aspects of themselves into existence, reflecting and sharing themselves with the world and most importantly to refine that felt sense of pure solitude.
